Dean Karnazes Partners With Evolve
Dean Karnazes, the elite endurance athlete and best-selling author, has signed with Evolve Sports of San Francisco for representation. Recently ranked by TIME magazine as one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People in the World”, Karnazes is a passionate advocate for healthy, active living. Leading by example, Karnazes has performed numerous never-before achieved feats of endurance – in turn inspiring others to achieve their goals. His recent exhibitions include holding the world record for a continuous 350 mile run; running 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 days; and winning such extreme endurance races as the 135-mile ultramarathon across Death Valley and a marathon in the South Pole. During these two events Karnazes experienced temperature swings from a 120 degree high to negative 40 low.
Dean is also the subject of a new nationally released documentary film, UltraMarathon Man. The film features Karnazes’ attempt to run 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 consecutive days, all for the pursuit of raising awareness for childhood obesity and helping all Americans become more active in their daily lives.
On August 17, 2008 Dean released his second book, “50/50: Secret’s I learned Running 50 Marathons in 50 Days“. 50/50 is the follow up to Dean’s first book, “Ultramarathon Man: Confessions of an All Night Runner”, one of the top sports books on the New York Times best seller list.
